VertiBase Balance Training Stand - Cloud White
VertiBase™ – Handmade Cheer Stunt Stand for Flyer Training
A purpose-built wooden stunt stand handcrafted in the UK – designed to help cheer flyers practise body positions, improve balance and build confidence before progressing to live stunts.
VertiBase™ provides an elevated training platform that more closely recreates the position and balance demands of being held in a stunt than practising skills on flat ground alone.
Standing 28 cm tall, it allows flyers to repeat and refine their positions in a controlled training environment, helping them develop the ankle stability, core strength, alignment and body awareness needed for confident stunt performance.
Built in-house in our UK workshop using traditional techniques – not mass produced, not outsourced – just properly made equipment created specifically for flyer training.
Whether you’re learning your first body positions or refining advanced stunt skills, VertiBase™ is designed to support consistent, controlled practice – at home, in the gym or alongside your coach.
By training on an elevated platform rather than solely on the floor, athletes can work in a position that more realistically reflects the demands of being supported by a stunt group.
This allows flyers to repeat skills, improve stability and refine their technique before performing those positions with bases and spotters.
- Designed specifically for cheer flyers
VertiBase™ provides a dedicated platform for practising flyer body positions, stunt holds and balance drills away from live partner work. - More realistic than practising on flat ground
The elevated design gives flyers a more authentic sense of positioning and balance, helping them prepare for the demands of a live stunt - Build confidence through repetition
Regular, controlled repetition allows athletes to become more familiar with their positions before attempting them with a stunt group - Develop ankle stability and core strength
Maintaining positions on the platform challenges the ankles, legs and core – helping athletes build the strength and control needed to remain stable in the air. - Refine alignment and body awareness
Practise posture, weight placement, body tension and clean lines while focusing on technique without the pressure of a live stunt. - Suitable for every stage of progression
VertiBase™ can support athletes learning their first flyer positions as well as experienced flyers refining more advanced holds. - Stable and confidence-building
Its solid wooden construction provides a secure, grounded training surface, allowing athletes to focus on control and positioning. - Train at home or in the gym
Lightweight and portable, VertiBase™ can be used for additional practice between club sessions or as part of coached flyer training. - Handmade, the proper way
Each VertiBase™ is cut, shaped, assembled and finished by hand using quality timber – built for repeated use and made with care. - Designed to be seen
Available in our signature VertiGrip colour palette, VertiBase™ looks as good as it performs – because well-made training equipment shouldn’t be hidden away.
